Spray Tanning Beds may Work for You

Even long before the year 2000, the days of the artificial tanning where you need to suffer the orange hand syndrome has long been gone. With the sunless tanning products back then, the chemical which is supposed to produce a natural-looking tan on your skin left your hands with an ugly orange hue. Fortunately, the multi-billion dollar cosmetic industry has come up with various ways to allow people to acquire a tan artificially. Whether it is a session under a tanning bed, or with the use of sunless tanning products which are more effective than the ones manufactured years ago – you can easily get a tan in less than one hour.

Aside from these two, spray tanning beds are another popular way to get a natural looking tan. If you would not like to subject your skin to the harsh rays of the Ultraviolet rays from the tanning beds, you can go for a spray tanning bed session instead. Basically, spray tanning works in such a way that a special tanning mist will be applied to your body. There are two types of mist which are produced by these spray tanning beds: oil-based and water based. If you have sensitive skin, you should opt for a water-based spray tan mist. In addition to asking about the type of mist which will be released by the spray tanning bed, you should also consult with the staff of the professional tanning salon about the depth of tan that you would like to acquire. You can either go for a very light, honey gold tan or a deeper, darker shade. Tans obtained through spray tanning beds usually last for about five to ten days – at which period you should keep the skin extremely moisturized so that your colour will last for a longer amount of time.
