Tanning Pills To Use or Not To Use

Have you ever heard about the concept of tanning pills? The idea behind these pills is to medically produce an orange or brownish tint on the skin which imitates tanning. The concept sounds good enough, since you would just need to take a pill and your skin will magically get tanned. However, actually producing tanning pills which are safe for consumption is the challenge. There are currently tanning pills which can be bought – but the question is: are they already safe to use? If they are, should you even bother taking pills orally just so that you can have that tanning effect on your skin?

Currently, the Health Canada has not yet approved tanning pills to be a safe way for acquiring a tan. This is reason enough to not take the pills – until such time that they are proven to be safe and effective. In addition to not having the approval of the health authorities, these tanning pills actually have side effects to your health. The components used in the manufacturing of the drugs cause nausea, cramps and diarrhea? Why would you even want to suffer these when there is actually a safer way to acquire a tan? In addition to the side effects, the results of these tanning pills have not been proven to be a hundred percent effective. Unless they are foolproof ways to acquire a tan without bringing any side effects to one's health, using tanning pills are definitely not recommended. Try lying down on a tanning bed instead, or if you would not like to be subject to the harsh glare of Ultraviolet rays, you can just use sunless tanning products for a safer and easier way to acquire a tan.
